Thank You to ALL of Our Generous Sponsors!
One of our goals is to motivate and empower youth to pursue educational opportunities in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Our goal is to reach out to a high percentage of under-represented youth for our program and keep the cost affordable for all. The registration fee for TCAA is $75.00-currently this is all that we require each participant to pay. However, the actual cost per participant is $600.00. Our financial goal is $20,000.00 each year. This will cover the cost of 20 participants, all necessary materials, food, transportation, future airport hanger/office space, and to acquire three general aviation aircrafts to train all of our participants in the future!
Twin Cities ACE Academy would like to thank the Dungy Family Foundation for it's generous donation of $20,000 in 2014! We greatly appreciate your generosity, and such dedicated support in our first year!
We are asking you to partner with us to reach that goal, because we believe one of the most important investments we can make is in our youth-who desire to have a positive and productive future. Please seriously consider making a tax deductible donation to support the OBAP Twin Cities ACE Academy today.
Young people often seek to become what is modeled before them and that is why the OBAP Twin Cities ACE Academy is designed, operated, and guided by aviation and aerospace professionals, who generously donate their time, talent, and resources.
Academy attendees will acquire invaluable life skills, and develop the necessary proficiency to pilot an aircraft in the process. OBAP ACE Academies continue to work to address the shortfall of minorities working in the Aviation and Aerospace Industry by providing aviation opportunities to disadvantaged, and minority youth.
With your help, we will continue this mission to ensure there is a diverse pipeline of future aerospace professionals. Furthermore, over the next few years, the aerospace industry will experience exploding job growth in such disciplines as pilots, air traffic controllers, aircraft mechanics, aerospace medicine, and flight instructors. Your contribution will allow us to identify, develop, and support these future aerospace professionals.
